Deekline Goes Back To The Jungle

Deekline and Tippa Irie are bringing the smooth grooves and ragga vibes on their latest colab ‘Good To Have The Feeling’. Setting the perfect mood for the summer, Deekline has laced this chilled out, tropical Jungle beat with Tippa’s infectious vocal.

We caught up with Deekline to find out his top Jungle tunes from back in the day

M-Beat feat General Levi – Incredible
1994 camo army pants, spiffy T’s and Unity record bag what more could you wish for as a 15 year yoot.

Leviticus – Burial
I have not heard another tune from them since this classic.

Omni Trio – Renegade Snares
The piano anthem used to send chills up my spine, and better still it was not cheesy. Most notable memory was DJ Hype playing this anthem at Bagleys.

Code Red – Conquering Lion
This was produced by legendary Rebel MC and is one of the tracks that shaped Ragga Jungle music for me.

Remarc & Lewi Cifer – Ricky
As a kid when you got in to bad things Jungle was part of part of that, this song reminds of all the chaos.

Aston & DJ Rap – Spiritual Aura
Deejay Recordings was one of those under cover labels, where you would find all the hidden gems. Not sure if Aston is spiritual or got the credit he deserved but if you were a raver this up there .
